Oakville, Ontario – The Find Yourself Foundation is pleased to announce that our Founding Director & Programs Facilitator, Mrs. Angela Jedrej, has been awarded national accreditation as a Certified Peer Supporter (“CPS”) by Peer Support Canada.
The Certified Peer Supporter accreditation is a verification of one’s alignment with nationally endorsed Standards of Practice for Peer Support and is recognized across Canada. The Standards of Practice outline the experience, competencies and knowledge needed to deliver peer support effectively.
As an organization committed to promoting wellness, support and continued recovery in our communities, we are incredibly proud and privileged to have Angela as such an integral part of our organization. Her accreditation as a Certified Peer Supporter will further strengthen our ability to fulfill our mission and enhance the programs we provide to those in need.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the Peer Support Canada staff and mentors for their dedication and expertise in providing such an exceptional accreditation process.
We would also like to thank all those who contributed to the practicum, provided references and, most importantly, their unconditional support and encouragement to Angela.
Please join us in congratulating Angela on this remarkable accomplishment. We look forward to continuing to work together to improve the lives of those in our community.
